Its all about the basics - Key pieces

Over the last few years, I really changed my shopping habits when it comes to what I buy for my wardrobe. I don't mean always forking out a lot for one item but focusing more on cost per wear as opposed to trends. I adore these t-shirts from COS and have them in a number of colours. The jeans are really nice quality & a nice fit similar to my Levis 501s.

The perfect key piece for your summer wardrobe

I am just back from the best weekend in Paris with my Mam to see Bruce Springsteen live, lots of nice food and wine and even sunshine...what more could you want? This dress is new stock from COS and I know it is going to be such a great piece for Summer. As I get older I notice I get more and more fussy about what I put into my wardrobe with a big focus on cost per wear so this piece is something I know I will live in for the warmer months. The dress also comes in white which is also fab if that is more your colour but navy was the winner for me :)

A visit to the Bloom Effects tulip fields

This August I am living here in the Netherlands for three years which blows my mind. One of my favourite things to do here is to visit the picturesque tulip fields in the Spring. I was delighted to be invited along to the Bloom Effects fields and WOW they were just incredible. Bloom Effects is a Dutch skincare brand which uses the natural ingredients from tulips to make their unique, award winning clean beauty products. If you are visiting the Netherlands in the future I highly recommend paying a visit to the fields this time of year, they never disappoint!
My poplin midi dress is new stock Zara which I have linked here. TikTok clip: linked here.

INNSBRUCK ADVENTURES IN H&M

Faux Fur Lined Biker Jacket Direct Link / Black Boots Direct Link / Jersey Leggings Direct Link / Leopard Print Jumper (Available in H&M Stores Now)

As much as I love the sun and my long summer holidays I am so happy it is time to wrap up. This look features some of the FAB new Autumn/Winter stock from H&M, it is a bit more of an edgy look for me but I love experimenting with my style these days so I say sure why not. I have to say these new jersey leggings with seams on the legs from H&M are super stretchy and great quality (no unwanted knicker lines).

BALL READY

I hope your week is going well so far, I am stuck at my study desk for the entire week...the joys of college exams. Am I the only one who just loves to dress up? As a child, I would change about five times a day on average and nothing has changed! Last week I attended a ball in the Radisson Hotel Galway and I most certainly had a ball at the ball....see what I did there;)

Playing Dress Up in Paris

When I was around six years of age my mum came home with a bag from one of my favourite little boutiques in my local town and in it was a tutu skirt just like this. I have always loved clothes and all things girly so my six-year-old self would one hundred percent approve of this post. I based this overall look around this statement handmade light grey tulle skirt from http://www.loveharper.net
I wanted to ensure the skirt was the focus of the entire look and I am sure you agree it does just that. The tulle skirts have an elastic waistband that comes in one size and caters for sizes 6-14 or there is also an XL for sizes 16-20.

River Island are on to a winner with this "Brown Camel Cocoon SwaggerCoat

*Star Buy*

Store:River Island
Cost:€120

A classic camel coat is a piece which every girl needs in her wardrobe if you ask me.
Its timeless look will bring you from season to season insuring you are not only in trend but also practical for the typical gloomy weather we experience in the the majority of months here in Ireland. Despite the fact I purchased my particular one in high street store River Island you can find a camel coat to suit every price tag from vintage to couture.

These photos were taken on the beautiful grounds of Donadea Forest Park in Co.Kildare Ireland.
